Our Vision
Her First Place, Inc. envision a world where black women are living their best lives in their own homes.
We see them happy, joyous, and succeeding. We believe black women who their own homes are surrounded by much love and laughter as they create lifelong memories in the place that is their own. Black women are worthy of the very best life has to offer—homeownership is of no exception. From the smell of home cooking gracing their kitchens to relaxing on the sofa after a long day while sipping on their favorite drinks, Black women are worth having it all. Let’s make her wish of a home become her lived in reality.

Her First Place Inc. is on a mission to support black women who are ready to find, buy, and own their dream home.
Black women are worthy of having a place that is their own.
We are proud to facilitate their journey of buying and owning their dream home.
We help Black Women secure the bag which brings them many steps closer to being homeowners.

We are able to do this by
- donating 100% of the proceeds from the Her First Place book,
- referring buyers to the best agent in her area and collecting a referral fee,
- Generous supporters that donate, volunteer and attend events.

Upcoming Events
We have many upcoming networking and fundraising events that provides you with the opportunity to support our Foundation. Thank you for helping us support homeownership for black women.
- You are a Black woman buying a property for the first time ?
- You are using an experienced and qualified Realtor referred by Her First Place Inc. ?
- The home you’re purchasing is in your legal name and must be your primary residence ?
- The home you’re purchasing must close within 90 days from the date of approval of your application ?
- The gift must go toward closing costs, down payment assistance, or to buy down the interest rate ?
- A copy of the settlement statement must be sent to the Foundation by your title or closing company before closing ?
- The gift is for the purchase of a single-family home, condo, townhome, a lot to build a home, multi-family home, or new construction use as your primary home or an investment property that you will live in ?
- We would love it if you sent us a picture of you standing outside your new home after closing. This is absolutely optional and not a requirement?
